I was awarded a PhD in Educational Research from Lancaster University and since then I write on a daily basis (with all the bad days you have too!)

My experience in academic writing led to my profound interest in the healthier approaches to writing when supporting my peers, both in lectures, writing groups and through training for researchers, lawyers, corporate, and entrepreneurs.

I did a professional qualification to deliver online and residential structured writing retreats and other educational learning experiences. My work is well-known in various universities and research institutes in the UK, Portugal, and in various African countries.

I am strongly anchored in the social science of collaborative learning, evaluation practice and international multi-stakeholder partnerships. It is in these three areas that my research contribution is focused.

I have two boys and we have lived abroad for 15 years. I am now based in Lisbon, Portugal, and working worldwide.
